CAYO BEACH

CAYO COCO is one of those Cuban islands that  is dominated by beaches and resorts. If you want to see any real Cuban culture, you’ll have to head to the mainland because CAYO COCO is strictly for tourists only. If you are going to CAYO COCO, you can arrive directly by plane to the JARDINES Rey Airport that is right on the island. Or if you are already in Cuba, you can actually drive there on the causeway that connects the island to the rest of Cuba.
Another island off the southern coast of Cuba, CAYO Largo del Sur is home not only to beaches but also to several live coral reefs. It’s perfect for anyone who enjoys scuba diving or snorkeling. The resorts are not as busy as those on CAYO Coco or VARADERO, the beaches are somewhat quieter.
